About the project
Lariat 1 was our namesake — the first home we built with our name on it. A modern mountain silhouette of shed rooflines, warm walnut, and blackened bronze. Inside, a sculptural pale-oak stair anchors the plan and glass walls dissolve the line between the great room and the Sierra beyond. Every material was chosen to age well. Everything we learned building it, we still use today.
